Sylvia, From Portland, Oregon, made this card. She used two shades of purple ribbon that have 'eyelets' on each side. The ribbon was narrow, so she just used a second and/or third length of ribbon when required to fill up the space of the pattern. She completed this card by using corner punches and added the bouquet of flowers.

Sylvia, from Portland, Oregon, made this card for Mother's Day. Not wanting to waste anything, she used the cutout to make a second card. For the second one she framed the project using light purple ribbon and added the darker purple ribbon for a bow at her neck. She used paper punches to create her bouquet.

Caz, from Lincolnshire in the UK, made this Sunbonnet Sue greeting card with a twist. She calls her Winter Bonnet Sue. Her body is red and gold shiny crepe paper, the hat and boots are mulberry paper and the fur trim and the muff are made out of cotton wool.

Jackie Comfort, from Pennsylvania in the US, made this Sunbonnet Sue card for a little girl's first birthday. She noticed how Caz from Lincolnshire and some of the others had altered the pattern, using one piece for the bonnet and shoes then doing the rest of the folding, and used the same idea.

Caz, from Linconshire in the UK, created this Sunbonnet Sue greeting card. She put a tiny envelope in her hand with a Happy Birthday note peeking out of it. She did the shoes and bonnet first in solid colors and added some lacy trim to the edges of the bonnet and around her wrist. The corners and Best Wishes greeting are peel-off stickers.

Roberta, from Australia, made this greeting card. She thought Sunbonnet Sue needed something to play with so she gave her a miniature balloon. The string is drawn on with gold glitter pen. She drew around the edge of each design with a red or gold glitter gel pen and the centres are gold holographic card.
