Stuart Miller – editor UFO Review
I, for one, certainly found the month of May 2004 a very exciting one. The
Mexican sighting, as yet still untarnished by any successful debunking effort or
for that matter, even a serious debunking effort, stands supreme above the
UFO community, smiling wistfully down upon us as we below chase around like
headless chickens in our exhilarated state. While as yet there have only been
quiet mutterings of comparison between this incident and the Phoenix Lights,
and certainly no scientific connection established, spiritually at least it comes
in the same package. Nearly. The Phoenix Lights was a banner carrying parade,
loudly proclaiming “Here We Are”. This latest lot were invisible to the Human
eye and only showed up on infrared cameras.
We have compiled a special article on Mexico containing the best of the
published research so far plus other comments and opinion, and just for good
measure, some of the more extreme points of view expressed on the incident
as well. As befits a subject that draws among its aficionados the mentally
challenged, it is amusing to see how one or two have gone off on a tangent.
And yet, in fairness, who’s to say they’re wrong? They could have been
Pleiadean ships on their way back from a soccer tournament on Zeta but don’t
offer opinions like that anywhere near a “serious” List. The Lazy Man’s Guide To
The Mexico Sighting starts on page 69 and just runs and runs!
It was hard to sense the reaction to the first edition. There was one negative
comment from a rival publication (not Gary and Russ) and a smattering of
positive ones, but beyond that, not a lot else. The number of downloads though
were good. My thanks in particular go to Joe McGonagle of Ufology UK for a
very kind review.
But I would appreciate your comments and feedback. I know the presentation
at the moment is poor, and that is in hand, but what articles would you like to

We are very pleased to welcome back to the fold Andrew Pike who was with me
at UFO magazine. Andrew brings immense experience and insight to the
subject of Space and not a little “behind the door” information as well. His
article in this issue poses more questions than answers! Enjoy

Doctor Lynne Kitei
There are some people in life that you have to stand back and admire. They
seem to have so much energy and positive drive that it’s breadth taking. Lynne
Kitei is one such person. This lady just loves life and people, and enjoys helping
them. This isn’t some angelic do-gooder, placed on Earth to spread love and
goodwill. She is a practical, humane individual who freely admits that her “fix”
is helping others, and it is pleasing and comforting that the impression you
form of her from reading the book translates into reality when you actually
speak to her. She’s a dynamo.
An early strong impression from the book was her reluctance to come forward,
and the more cynical among us might interpret that as heroic modesty. But
when you hold a high profile position within the general medical and social
community of the city you live in, it takes a bit of courage to step forward and
tell everyone that you’ve filmed these lights in the sky and they might be from
another dimension, even if a few thousand others saw the same lights as well.
As we all know, the scientific community is not always welcoming towards
colleagues who suddenly “flip” and start talking gibberish.
But as you will read below, Lynne felt called upon, almost picked to come
forward. There were just too many coincidences and minor incidents to ignore,
that all seemed to be saying the same thing: “Get off your backside, get out
there and tell the world.” These incidents may have been imagined or they may
have been real, but regardless, they were real to Lynne and she responded. And
she found, when she peaked above the covers, a world she had no idea existed
– our world. A world of strange sightings, stories, reluctant governments, high
secrecy, and the general weird and wonderful. “Thrown in at the deep end” is a
phrase that comes to mind.
