ŚWIĘTOKRZYSKIE
A GOOD PLACE FOR INVESTMENTS
The region of Świętokrzyskie is located in the South-East part of Poland, between
the biggest cities: Warsaw and Cracow, near the border with Slovakia and Ukraine.
ADVANTAGES
Young, highly-educated, multilingual people. Świętokrzyskie
is a well-developed educational base (60 thousand students)
with two universities: Jan Kochanowski University and the Kielce
University of Technology.
Well – trained employees . Thanks to the rich industrial tradition
of the region, there are many well – qualifi ed
works here,
Low labour costs.
Attractive landscape. The Świętokrzyskie Mountains – one of
the oldest mountain ranges in Europe – beautiful caves, large forest
complexes, rivers and lakes.
RELAXATION AND REST
Active Rest. Bicycle routes and places for: water-sports,
winter-sports, air-sports and motorsports;
Bałtów Jurassic Park. In the attractive Valley of the
Kamienna River there is a dinosaur and other extinct
animals museum and viewing gallery.
Kurozwęki Palace. A charming, recently restored XIV
century palace with a herd of American buffalo.
Paradise cave. Unusual stalactites and stalagmites,
columns, impressive ridges and curtains and “cave pearls”.
Entertainment centers. Swimming pools, cinemas,
theatres, bowling alleys and billiard halls.
Spa Centres in Busko Zdrój and Solec Zdrój:
Sulphide waters, brines-salt and bromine, therapeutic mud
and physical therapy.
BUSINESS & INVESTMENT
Kielce Trade Fairs. The most quickly developing trade show
centre in Poland.
The Centre for Laser Technologies of Metals – the Kielce
University of Technology
Satellite Services Centre TP SAT – the only one in Poland
Rich mineral resources. The unique on the country scale
gypsum, limestone and ceramic clay resources attract building and
road materials as well as ceramic and glass goods plants to the
voivodeship.
Old and great tradition of metallurgy, iron processing and
founding.
Important garden and vegetable center . Due to the benefi cial
conditions for agriculture and food industry, large centers of growing
fruits and vegetables have been created near Sandomierz, Busko
Zdrój, Szydłów and Pińczów. The dairy center is located in the region
of Włoszczowa and Końskie.
The Regional Centre for Science and Technology . There
are many other organizations cooperating with business, banks and
associations supporting entrepreneurs.
„Starachowice” Special Economic Zone (SSE).
The total area of the SSE „Starachowice” is 580,7612 ha.

Market takes over the ExCel exhibition centre in London’s docklands for four days.
We meet the Polish exhibitors and i nd out what they have to offer visitors to what
is arguably the most enchanting countries in Europe.
Discover Poland’s quest to inspire you to visit fascinating places continues, as we
take a detailed tour of the Świętokrzyskie region, and look at the rising fortunes
of the city of Łódź. As development of luxury apartments spreads across Poland,
we take a look at some of the more popular developments, and i nd out who is
investing in them.
