John Hughes lives with his wife Philippa and an over-excitable cat in the
verdant wilderness of Canberra, AustraliaÔs bush capital. He is co-author of
Issaries Thunder Rebels and a contributor to Storm Tribe , and his work
regularly appears in a variety of Gloranthan magazines, including Tales of
the Reaching Moon . JohnÔs interests include comparative religion, the
sneaky bits in world mythology, ancient poetry, and picking wings off
Amazonian butterflies as a practical measure in hurricane prevention. He
has many books but no tattoos, and thinks that The HitchhikerÔs Guide To
The Galaxy is the greatest heroquest of the twentieth century.
