Help us raise money for The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association by stitching this cute little puppy designed by Heritage Stitchcraft; then stitch and sell loads of them to your family and friends or auction off the finished piece to help us reach our £50,000 target. The chart is available in pdf format and was originally published in issue 64 of The World of Cross Stitching.

Note: this chart has been optimised for print; in other words, the chart may look small on screen - you can of course use the magnify tool to zoom in on it - but should be fine when you print the page.

Squashed Stitches Where you see two tiny symbols next to each other, either vertically or horizontally, you need to stitch two 'squashed' cross stitches. Each takes up half the space of a normal cross stitch. On evenweave, work each stitch over two threads one way and one thread the other way producing two 'squashed' cross stitches which take up the same space as one normal one.
