Welcome to AVR Studio 4.18 Release Candidate 3 (10/2009)

The following (6) new parts have been added to AVR Studio since 4.17:

- ATmega64HVE, ATtiny461A, ATtiny20, ATtiny40 (Simulator support only), ATmega169PA, ATmega649P

New Features

QT600 support in programming dialog in AVR Studio 
AVR Dragon support for all AVR 8-bit devices including XMEGA. Programming and debugging within AVR Studio and command line software support for ELF production file format. 
Simulator 2 models for: ATxmega32A4, ATxmega16A4, ATxmega32D4, ATxmega16D4, ATtiny10(New revision), ATtiny9, ATtiny5, ATtiny4, ATmega32HVB, ATmega16HVB
ATmega64HVE, ATtiny20, ATtiny2313A, ATtiny4313, ATmega169PA 
Added button for starting AVR32 Studio. 

Bug Fixes

*Minor fix for un-installing USB driver. Will not completely un-install so that other programs using the Jungo driver will still work.
10397 - Timeout when debugging with AVR ONE! at 6 kHz
10147 - avrone.exe pops up messagebox for FW upgrade, warning is displayed instead. 
9805 - TWI part descriptions broken for ATxmega parts in latest AVR Studio release

9961 - Simulator2: Single-stepping stops on skipped instruction after SBIC/SBIS instructions
10703 - Simulator 2: Single-stepping problem on xmega
10722 - Moving XMEGA breakpoints does not work, JTAGICE mkII, AVR ONE!

Windows 95 is no longer supported by AVR Studio. The most recent version that supported Windows 95 was AVR Studio 4.12 SP3.
Windows 98 is no longer supported by AVR Studio. The most recent version that supported Windows 98 was AVR Studio 4.16 SP1.
