Opisz system edukacji w Polsce, podkreślając jego mocne strony.

Under the present system of education, which was introduced in Poland in the late 1990s, children must attend school between the ages of seven and eighteen, and education for these students is free. Like in most other European countries, young children have the chance to attend kindergarten for a year before starting primary school at the age of seven.

Because most parents work these days, primary school children are able to attend after-school music, sport and crafts classes. Throughout the school year, most Polish schools arrange excursions and visits to places of culture, such as museums and theatres.

After completing primary school, students can choose different types of secondary education, which is also free of charge. They can choose to go on to high schools of general education if they wish to prepare for university. Others, who want to finish school earlier, can attend either vocational schools or technical colleges.

Most of Poland’s universities and colleges are equipped with facilities such as up-to-date laboratories and libraries. However, the Ministry of Education would like to see better computer equipment and Internet links in every educational department throughout the country.

All in all, Poland’s education system is gradually reaching the standard of other European countries. Now that we are in the European Union, the future certainly looks bright and filled with opportunities.
