January 2009 – Global Supply Chain Development Manager, Jabil Circuit Inc.
Responsible for designing and implementation of supply chain solutions/resources best meeting Customer needs in Home and Energy sector. This includes, supply base localization, recommendation on best approved vendor lists for various Customer products, value add/ value engineering activities with the Customer. Hub/Consignment solutions etc.
September 2007 – December 2008 Global Commodity Manager – Frequency Components, Jabil Circuit Inc.
Maintaining and developing overall relationship with Frequency Suppliers worldwide. This includes but is not limited to: leading global negotiations with selected Suppliers, deciding on Supplier status (strategic, qualified, developmental etc.) based on performance reviews, audits and company needs, creating commodity strategy, performing global performance reviews and meetings with Suppliers top management etc.
October 2004 – August 2007 European Commodity Manager – Passive Components, Jabil Circuit Inc.
Responsible for managing Suppliers of Passive Components, delivering products to 10 Jabil factories in Europe. This consists of commercial negotiations, contracting, Suppliers development, performance reviews, sourcing, commodity strategy development and implementation, representing Europe in the Global Passives Commodity Team etc.
May 2002 – October 2004 - Purchasing Manager, Jabil Circuit Poland, Kwidzyn. Managing (staffing, training, development, budgeting and cost control) Purchasing Department with around 40 employees. Responsible for the following key performance indicators: inventory level, components availability, material cost control etc. Supervising introduction of SAP purchasing module in the company.
April 2001 – May 2002 - Inbound Logistics Manager responsible for Purchasing, Material Quality and Inbound Store in joined PCBA and Tuners factory of Philips Consumer Electronics Industries Poland (PCEIP), Kwidzyn. This role required indirect supervision of more than 120 employees and overall inbound material flow starting from placing the order based on MRP results through transport arrangements, customs clearance, delivery to the warehouse, incoming goods inspection, goods storage, issuing them to the production floor or subcontractors and returning them back to the store and the vendor if needed (e.g. due to material quality complaints). Additionally very close co-operation with Outbound Logistics department allowed for better understanding of planning, outbound store and shipping processes.
April 2000 – April 2001 - Inbound Logistics Manager in PCBA factory of PCEIP, Kwidzyn.
The same characteristics of the job as above but in a smaller scale – just in one factory (before the acquisition of Tuners factory)
November 1999 – April 2000 - Procurement Manager in PCBA factory of PCEIP, Kwidzyn. Responsible for management of procurement department + supervision of order placement and order execution processes in the factory.
April 1999 – November 1999 - Initial Buyer for sub-contracting and E/M commodities & custom devices, Purchasing PCEIP Kwidzyn. Co-operating with Regional/Global Commodity Management in terms of local Commodity Management. (Suppliers performance measurement, supervision of global/regional strategy implementation at the site level etc.).
