Complex Tools Public Release V1.60 ---------------------------------- Welcome to Complex Tools. We have decided to release to the public some tools for handling XBOX releases. We realise that there are other tools out there that may do similar things but we provide you with tools in an easy to use interface. Whats new in V1.60 ------------------ - Upgraded Samba to V3.01. Thanks to XBMP Team. - Extracting ISO images will now rename directory to XBE Title name when complete. - ISO extraction will skip over non compliant FATX filenames and display a warning. - Title images from XBE now displayed during ripping, launch and uninstall menus. - Fixed Toggle Music button. What This Tool Does ------------------- - Rip any XBOX DVD Game to drives E, F and G - Launch installed titles with the press of a button. - Uninstall titles with the press of a button - UnRAR support for easy installation of releases. - "On the fly" ISO extraction from RAR archives. - Extract Xbox .iso images easily. - Samba Share support : Unrar and extract isos to your Xbox from a PC share. - SFV Checker to check for bad CRCs in your releases. - Built in FTP Server. - Media Patching Option. - MP3/S3M/MOD/XM/IT background music player. - Supports PX-HDD paths. - Easy to configure XML file. Configuring your ComplexTools.xml file -------------------------------------- The ComplexTools.xml file is self-explanatory. The following paths define where you can rip, launch, uninstall your titles to. You must define one path per partition for E, F and G as shown below: <eripdir>e:\games\</eripdir> <fripdir>f:\games\</fripdir> <gripdir>g:\games\</gripdir> If you wish to use Samba shares to Unrar/Uniso remotely configure the line below with your target pc share information. <smbdir1>smb://workgroup;login:pass@machine/share/</smbdir1> also define your nameserver <nameserver>192.168.0.1</nameserver> You may only currently have one share defined. Future updates will allow for multiple shares. If you wish to listen to MP3/S3M/MOD/XM/IT/OGG background music, modify the following line to your media path: <MediaDir>f:\mp3</MediaDir> To enable XBE Media patching modify the PatchXBE tag to that as shown: <PatchXBE>1</PatchXBE> Setting it to '0' means no XBE patching will be applied. Usage ----- Main Menu: Rip XBOX DVD Title to HardDisk: -Insert and rip any valid XBOX DVD. Launch Title from HardDisk: - Launch an XBE from the paths defined in your ComplexTools.xml file. Uninstall Title from HardDisk - Uninstall a release from the paths defined in your ComplexTools.xml file. Unrar File - Extract a RAR archive from either your local Xbox Harddisk or a Remote PC Share. ISO Utilities - Extract an ISO file from either your local Xbox Harddisk or a Remote PC Share. SFV Checker - SFV Verify a release from either your local Xbox Harddisk or a Remote PC Share.
